Actor Karan Tacker has begun shooting for his upcoming project in Scotland, offering fans a glimpse of the first day of the schedule through social media. The actor shared a photograph from his vanity chair as he prepared to shoot, accompanied by a caption suggesting that the new venture marks a significant step in his career. While details about the project remain undisclosed, his post has drawn attention to a noticeably different appearance.
Sharing the update, Karan wrote, “A new project. A new chapter. A big punt. Can’t say too much just yet, but sometimes the biggest risks lead to the most exciting journeys. More to come.”
The photograph offered an early look at Karan’s appearance for the untitled project. The actor was seen sporting grown-out hair and a dense beard, presenting a rugged look that differs from his more familiar screen appearances. Although the transformation has prompted curiosity about the character he will play, there has been no official confirmation regarding the story, genre or details of his role.

Karan’s reference to taking a risk has also added to the intrigue surrounding the project. However, with the makers yet to reveal further information, it remains to be seen what the new role entails and how it will differ from his previous work. The actor has kept the announcement brief, indicating that more details may emerge as the production progresses.
The Scotland schedule comes amid Karan’s continued work across streaming and feature films. He has appeared in espionage and crime dramas, including Special OPS and Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, adding to his body of work in the streaming space. More recently, he was associated with the paranormal thriller series Bhay: The Gaurav Tiwari Mystery and Anupam Kher’s directorial feature Tanvi The Great.
The actor’s latest update follows a stopover in Edinburgh earlier this month, with filming now underway at locations across Scotland. The production team has not yet announced the title or disclosed the names of other cast members and the creative crew.
For now, Karan’s social media post remains the first indication of his involvement in the project. An official announcement is awaited, with further details expected to clarify the nature of the role and the direction of the upcoming venture.
