The opening response to the two diametrically opposite genres, NAUTANKI SAALA! and COMMANDO, by Friday noon was crystal clear. NAUTANKI SAALA!, which caters to the urban audiences, fetched a decent start at plexes of major centres, while COMMANDO, an action fare aimed at the masses, had a better start at single screens of mass-dominated belt.
NAUTANKI SAALA! has had a bigger release at plexes, while COMMANDO has gone wide in single screens. Hence, it will be interesting to see the growth in their biz over the weekend. The clear trends should emerge by evening/night!
