The film industry was in for a rude shock as the three new releases -- 3G, MERE DAD KI MARUTI and JOLLY LLB -- opened to poor houses across major screens. However, it seems like a trend these days for films to start on a slow note, but pick up towards the evening/night shows, depending on how strong the report are. The three films, well-publicized all, should witness growth over the weekend, but the growth has to be substantial to stay afloat.
