The Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram – Hitlist hit screens yesterday. After much talk and promotions the film opened to a rather tepid start at the domestic box office. On the other hand in the overseas markets Vikram has opened on a much better note.
In the overseas market of USA the film managed to draw in USD 847,492 [Rs. 6.57 cr.] from 412 screens, followed by the overseas markets of UK and Ireland where the Kamal Haasan starrer raked in USD 207,226 from just 67 screens, and Australia where the film saw a further USD 167,665 coming in from 19 screens. The overseas markets of New Zealand and Canada saw comparatively lower collections with USD 17,626 coming in from 19 screens and 15,111 from 8 screens respectively.
Going forward, the business of the film is expected to see growth over the weekend. As per trade predictions the business of the Kamal Haasan film Vikram will see good growth across all markets in the coming days.
