After collecting Rs. 1.81 crores on Day 1, Sooraj Barjatya's Uunchai has seen a big spike in collections on Saturday. The slice-of-life drama has gone up by 102 percent on its second day, thereby showing the 2nd biggest second-day growth for a Bollywood film in the post-pandemic world. Uunchai collected Rs. 3.64 crores on Day 2 taking the two-day total to Rs. 5.45 cr.
What is noteworthy is that Uunchai has registered the 2nd biggest second-day growth for a Bollywood film in the post-pandemic world after The Kashmir Files. The Kashmir Files which had collected Rs. 3.55 cr. on Day 1 had seen its collections rise by 139% to finish Day 2 with Rs. 8.5 cr. On the other hand, Uunchai collected Rs. 1.8 cr. on Day 2 and registered a 102% growth to end the day with Rs. 3.64 cr.
