3 IDIOTS is setting new records internationally too. The film has crossed the $ 3 million mark [$ 32,62,536; approx. Rs. 15.21 crores], which makes it the first Hindi film to attain such figures in the U.S. The film is sure to cross $ 4 million by the end of its second weekend, which will be a record of sorts. The Week 1 figure is bigger than the lifetime gross of some of the biggest Hits of Hindi cinema.
