The much talked about and well received Ranbir Kapoor – Shraddha Kapoor starrer Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar released a while back. Directed by Luv Ranjan the film which received positive reviews managed to establish a connect with the audience greatly propelling the business of the film. In fact, after opening on a good note, the business of TJMM within the domestic market saw good growth with each passing day. In the overseas markets as well, the business of the film has been seeing a positive trend. Now, after its second week running the business of TJMM has managed to cross the Rs. 200 cr. mark at the worldwide box office.
Collecting Rs. 155.32 cr. gross within the domestic market and a further Rs. 45.94 cr. from the overseas markets TJMM has managed to draw in a massive Rs. 201.26 cr. at the worldwide box office. Interestingly, with the Luv Ranjan directorial crossing the Rs. 200 cr. mark, TJMM has become the second film of 2023 to manage this feat after the Shah Rukh Khan – Deepika Padukone – John Abraham starrer Pathaan, which hit screen in January this year.
Currently, though TJMM has seen a decline in footfalls the film continues to run in select locations. In fact, trade predictions state that TJMM will continue to see collections trickle in as the days progress.
