The Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3 hit screens a while back and since then the film has been doing roaring business at the box office. The third instalment in the Tiger franchise the Maneesh Sharma directorial, which opened with a bang, has now begun to see its collections decelerate. However, despite this, the business of the film has managed to set new benchmarks.
In this box office report, we look at the worldwide gross of Tiger 3 while comparing the same to previous releases of 2023. Not surprisingly, Tiger 3 that enjoyed immense hype and a wide release has managed to draw in a staggering Rs. 446.19 cr. to emerge as the fourth highest worldwide grosser of 2023. However, despite the hype, the audience anticipation, and the festive release, the business of the film does not manage to surpass certain releases like Jawan, which collected Rs. 1148.32 cr, Pathaan, which collected Rs. 1050.3 cr, and even Gadar 2, which had collected Rs. 671.08 cr.
On the other hand, the business of Tiger 3 manages to surpass the collections of the Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani that had collected Rs. 355.61 cr. However, trade predictions state that the business of Tiger 3, which has seen a gradual decline over the past week, is unlikely to cross the Rs. 500 cr. mark. In fact, based on the current scenario the worldwide collections of Tiger 3 are expected to fall a bit short of achieving this milestone.
