Srikanth is all set to have a good week ahead, what with Monday starting on a very positive note. The drop was hardly there from Friday (Rs. 1.67 crores) as Rs. 1.52 crores came on Monday. This happens only when a film is truly deserving and even though it was a partial holiday of sorts due to Maharashtra elections, the fact that audiences did choose this one as a big screen experience outing says a lot about its acceptance after being in theatres for 10 days.
Though at one point in time it had seemed that Rs. 30 crores mark would be reached by the close of Week Two, now that would happen by tomorrow afternoon itself with almost a day and a half to spare. This means bonus numbers of around Rs. 1.50 crores at least will come in before the third weekend begins and that would go a long way in extending the film’s overall total well past the Rs. 40 crores mark in a jiffy with Rs. 28.09 crores already in its kitty.
There are 10 more open days ahead for the film and even post that it would be Rajkummar Rao’s show all the way as his Mr. & Mrs. Mahi will run in parallel. It will be almost similar to the time when Ayushmann Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan came at a gap of just two weeks with both emerging as hits and running in parallel.
