The Mahesh Babu starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata was released last week in both the domestic and international markets. While in India the film has been doing brisk business, in the overseas markets where it hit screens a day earlier, Sarkaru Vaari Paata has been dominating.
In fact, in the overseas market of USA, Sarkaru Vaari Paata that released across 500 screens managed to rake in a staggering USD 1.97 million [Rs. 15.41 cr.] over its opening weekend at the USA box office alone. Simultaneously at the Canada box office, the film managed to rake in USD 14,491 from just 7 screens.
Coming in as the film’s third highest grossing market is the overseas territory of Australia where the film drew in 363,598 A$ [Rs. 1.95 cr.] from 76 screens, U.K & Ireland seeing collections of 178,543 £ [Rs. 1.7 cr.] from 60 screens. However, the markets of Singapore and Malaysia saw the film’s collections remain low with Rs. 18.77 lakhs from 6 screens and Rs. 15.09 lakhs from 15 screens coming in.
If that wasn’t enough, ranking 11th on the list of highest weekend grossers, trade expectations state that the business of Sarkaru Vaari Paata will see further growth in collections as the week progresses.
