Gangubai Kathiawadi has already scored a century at the box office, The Kashmir Files has entered the Rs. 200 Crore Club and now RRR (Hindi) will comfortably go past the Rs. 100 crores mark in quick time with a definite chance of cracking the Rs. 150 crores milestone.
That’s because Friday collections have defied expectations with Rs. 20.07 crores coming in. Our predictions were much lesser in comparison as back then it seemed that the hype hadn’t reached an optimal level, and then The Kashmir Files will continue to prove to be a challenge. Well, it was actually on the contrary as audiences seem to have made up their mind to watch RRR and if shows post later afternoon are any indication then the word of mouth has been quite good as well.
That’s exactly what will define the growth over the weekend from here. It won’t be surprising if the footfalls increase dramatically from here and Rs. 25 crores milestone is touched on Saturday. If that indeed turns out to be the case then the film can definitely grow by leaps and bounds in weeks to follow.
