Starring Ram Charan, Jr. NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn the film which marks SS Rajamouli’s first directorial after the hugely successful Baahubali saga came with immense expectations. Touted as the biggest release of the year, RRR has been making headlines since its announcement.

Surpassing expectations, RRR managed to draw in a staggering Rs. 20.07 cr becoming the highest opening day grosser of 2022. In fact, the Day 1 collections of RRR surpasses the collections of previous releases like Bachchhan Paandey that collected Rs. 13.25 cr, Gangubai Kathiawadi that collected Rs. 10.50 cr, Radhe Shyam that collected Rs. 4.44 cr, The Kashmir Files that collected Rs. 3.55 cr, Badhaai Do that collected Rs. 1.65 cr, and Jhund that collected Rs. 1.38 cr.
Going further, trade predictions state that the business of RRR will see further growth over its opening weekend. In fact, as per advance trends, the film has seen an increase of nearly 40% in booking over morning and afternoon shows on its second day as compared to Day 1.
