Roohi managed to stay decent on Monday as Rs. 1.35 crores came in. Though a number in excess of Rs. 1.50 crores would have been all the more exciting, the fact that it has managed to do this much as well in the times when no other Monday since last one year has come even close to this, it is some sort of relief at least.
Though this is a drop of a little over 50% when compared to the first day (Rs. 3.06 crores), one needs to factor the Mahashivratri partial holiday in Thursday. Compared to Friday, which stood at Rs. 2.25 crores, this is a 60% hold which is at par and gives an indication of steady weekdays ahead.
The makers must be hoping that from this point on the film stays over Rs. 1 crore mark at least right till Thursday as that would indicate a decent enough week. So far, the horror comedy has collected Rs. 13.93 crores and a first week of Rs. 17 crores seems on the cards.
