Yash Raj Films’s Mardaani 3 has put up an outstanding hold in its second week. The film showed no drop on the second Thursday, collecting Rs. 1.10 crore nett, taking its India total to Rs. 42.20 crore nett.

The biggest highlight is the film’s second-week performance. Mardaani 3 collected Rs. 15.65 crore nett in Week 2, which is higher than the second-week collections of the earlier films in the franchise. Mardaani (2014) had collected Rs. 8.19 crore, while Mardaani 2 (2019) had collected Rs. 12.15 crore in their respective second weeks.
This robust trending, coupled with unanimously positive reviews and strong word of mouth, indicates that Mardaani 3 is well-placed to sustain a steady run at the box office despite upcoming competition while continuing the franchise’s hard-hitting, socially relevant storytelling.
The film had also surpassed expectations right from Day 1, becoming the biggest opener of the franchise and the biggest opening day for a solo Rani Mukerji film, collecting Rs. 4 crore on its first Friday; an impressive start for a female-led film in India.
