The weekdays have started in an excellent note for Pathaan as Monday collections are pretty much the same as Friday collections. While on Friday the film has brought in Rs. 1.02 crores, Monday hold is simply superb with Rs. 0.90 crore* more coming in. This is unbelievable as the film is in its sixth week and there are three major movies that have released in the last couple of weeks. Still, it’s Pathaan that’s finding favour amongst the audience and now that would continue to be the case right till the release of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.
The film will now go past the lifetime collections of the Hindi version of Baahubali: The Conclusion (Rs. 511 crores) by a distance and won’t just brush aside it by a small margin. It has already collected Rs. 508.50 crores* and Rs. 511 crores would be crossed at maximum by Friday. Then there is the weekend ahead, which will yet again show growth, and hence Rs. 515 crores would be crossed by the time the weekdays kick-start. In the overall run, the film would have collected 520 crores in just the Hindi version, which would be mind-blowing.
As for the overall collections of the film if one includes the south versions as well, the film has collected Rs. 526.66 crores* already. In the long run, it’s eyeing Rs. 535 crores milestone which would now be comfortably accomplished. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer all time mega blockbuster has set huge standards for the next Bollywood release and the one where the bets can be placed to come at least close to its collections is Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, which arrives this Diwali.
*Estimates. Final numbers awaited
