After collecting approx. Rs. 10.53 cr. on Saturday, OMG 2 starring Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam continued its momentum on Day 10, Sunday as well. According to estimates, the movie registered a growth of 20% over the second Saturday and has collected approx. Rs. 12.5 to 13 cr. on Sunday taking the ten-day total to Rs. 114 cr. The current trends suggest that OMG 2 should comfortably cross Rs. 125 cr. mark. Whether or not it reaches/crosses Rs. 150 cr. will depend on how Dream Girl 2 fares in its opening weekend.
For the film to score a double-digit day on its second Sunday, and that too when right in front of it there was Gadar 2 creating ‘gadar’ and scoring in excess of Rs. 30 crores already is a huge achievement. It is keeping the multiplex audiences engaged.
