The Jagan Shakti directed film Mission Mangal released earlier this month. After opening on a high note the business of the film continued to see immense growth in collections as the days progressed. Now after its second weekend running Mission Mangal has managed to rake in Rs. 164.61 cr at the box office.

Collecting Rs. 15.30 cr on its second Sunday, Mission Mangal has managed to become the third highest second Sunday grosser of 2019. Leading the list are previous releases Kabir Singh that had collected Rs. 17.84 cr and Uri – The Surgical Strike that had collected Rs. 17.17 cr on their respective second Sundays. However, the collections of Mission Mangal have surpassed certain other previous releases like Super 30 that collected Rs. 11.68 cr, Total Dhamaal that collected Rs. 11.45 cr, Kesari that collected Rs. 8.25 cr, Badla that collected Rs. 8.22 cr, Batla House that collected Rs. 7.21 cr, Gully Boy that collected Rs. 7.10 cr, and Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi that had collected Rs. 6.50 cr.
Currently with no new Bollywood release, Mission Mangal looks set to dominate the box office. In fact, estimates state that the business of the film will cross the Rs. 170 cr mark in the next couple of days.
