It was a fair day for Mardaani 3 as reduced ticket prices on Blockbuster Tuesday offer resulted in increased footfalls and added collections. From Rs. 2.40 crores on Monday, it moved up to Rs. 2.75 crores on Tuesday. While the jump in numbers isn’t much, it’s still better than how things could have been had the offer not been taken. One can imagine that the collections would have come closer to the Rs. 2 crores mark then.

Nonetheless, that’s what the film would be hoping for now which is for the collections to be Rs. 2 crores each today and tomorrow. It would be a challenge since typically after Blockbuster Tuesday, collections do see a dip on Wednesday. However, that’s not something that Mardaani 3 can afford to have if it needs to keep moving towards that Rs. 40 crores milestone at least.
Currently, the Rani Mukerji starrer stands at Rs. 22.40 crores and it’s Week One will close over Rs. 25 crores mark. Post that it would all boil down to how would the second weekend turn out to be. Even a reasonably decent Friday-Sunday run of Rs. 6-7 crores will ensure that Rs. 40 crores+ lifetime is there for the taking, and if that turns out to be the case, it would at least emerge as a reasonably fair affair.
