The Vivek Agnihotri directed film The Kashmir Files that released over two weeks ago is still going strong. After a stellar opening weekend and first week, the business of the film saw yet another spurt in collections on its second weekend. Following this, despite new releases hitting screens the collections of The Kashmir Files has been rock steady. Now in its third week, the business of the film has begun to show signs of slowing down.
In this box office report, we take a look at the third Tuesday collections of The Kashmir Files while comparing the same to previous releases. Collecting Rs. 2.75 cr The Kashmir Files manages to surpass the previously released Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan that collected Rs. 2.63 cr, and the SS Rajamouli directorial Bahubali – The Beginning that collected Rs. 2.6 cr to become the ninth all-time highest third Tuesday grosser.
Going forward, the business of The Kashmir Files that has begun to slow down is expected to continue on its current trajectory. In fact, despite the low spate of collections, trade predicts that the overall business of The Kashmir Files that is pegged at Rs. 234.03 cr will eventually cross the Rs. 250 cr mark by the end of its theatrical run.
