The Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh that released a little less than two weeks ago has been on a roll. Ever since hitting screens the film has been raking in the moolah with audience flocking to the theatres. Now nearing the end of its second week in theatres, Kabir Singh has managed to cross the Rs. 200 cr mark.
In this box office report, we take a look at the collections of Kabir Singh on its second Wednesday while comparing the same to the previous releases. Collecting Rs. 7.53 cr Kabir Singh has managed to surpass the business of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan that had collected Rs. 7.1 cr to become the fifth highest all-time second Wednesday grosser. If that wasn’t all, the second Wednesday business of Kabir Singh has registered better collections than other releases as well, like, Sanju that collected Rs. 6.80 cr, Uri - The Surgical Strike that collected Rs. 6 cr, Tiger Zinda Hai that collected Rs. 5.84 cr, and Padmaavat that collected Rs. 5.50 cr.
On the other hand, the business of Kabir Singh does not manage to match upto the collections of other previous releases like Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 7.25 cr, Dhoom 3 that collected Rs. 10.78 cr, Dangal that collected R.s 9.23 cr, and PK that collected Rs. 9.05 cr.
Now all that remains to be seen is whether the film goes on to become one of the highest grossers of the year.
