After opening on a good note, the business of the film witnessed huge growth, and with positive feedback from the critics and audience alike, the collections of the film saw further jump.

Collecting Rs. 134.42 cr, Kabir Singh does not manage to surpass the first week collections of Shahid’s previous release Padmaavat that had collected Rs. 166.5 cr. Thanks to this, the film now stands as Shahid Kapoor’s second highest opening week grosser. As of now, Kabir Singh still continues to run in theatres. But with the release of the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15, the film might face a bit of competition. However, expectations are that the business of Kabir Singh will see a bit of growth over its second weekend in theatres.
