The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi released a while back, and since then the film has been doing brisk business at the box office. After opening with a bang the business of the film in both the domestic and overseas market saw immense growth with audience thronging theatres.
Now in the overseas market of Australia, Gangubai Kathiawadi that has been raking in the moolah has managed to surpass the collections of the Salman Khan starrer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that collected A$ 913,641, as well as the collections of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees that had collected A$ 877,848. Collecting A$ 944,011 Gangubai Kathiawadi has managed to outperform certain other releases as well like, Uri – The Surgical Strike that collected A$ 886,020, Bharat that collected A$ 849,365, and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that collected A$ 825,246.
Currently, Gangubai Kathiawadi still continues to run in theatres and is expected to see its overall collections in the Australian market increase further.
