It was a fair closure to the week for Fukrey 3 as the film ended up bringing in Rs. 51 lakhs more. There is a plethora of movies arriving today, both original Hindi films as well as several dubbed films from Tamil, Telugu and Kannada industries. As a result, a lot of screens and shows will now get reallocated to these films. As a result, Fukrey 3 needed to collect as much as it could in the week gone by.
The collections were really buoyed by National Cinema Day which pushed the collections by a massive Rs. 5 crores. However, post that the numbers went below the Rs. 1 crore mark during the weekdays, which is on expected lines. In fact, the surprising part is that the competition was actually coming from Jawan, which is in its sixth week.
Fukrey 3 has now reached Rs. 93.31 crores and by the close of this weekend, the collections should go past the Rs. 95 crores. Post that it has to be seen that where does the film land between Rs. 95-100 crores. This is second back to back comedy success that Bollywood has seen after Dream Girl 2 and both of these are franchise affairs.
