Drishyam 2 Overseas Box Office: Films fares well in U.A.E/G.C.C on Day 2; collects USD 243K [Rs. 1.98 cr.] :Bollywood Box Office

The Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 which is a sequel to the 2013 release Drishyam hit screens earlier this week on Friday. Also starring Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, and Shreya Saran, the film takes the story of the Salgaonkar family forward from the previous release. Not surprisingly, much like the first film, Drishyam 2 opened on a good note, with positive reviews coming in from both the audience and critics alike. Like its performance in the domestic market, Drishyam 2 has been doing equally well in the overseas markets as well.

Released across 4150 screens (domestic 3302 screens + overseas 858+ screens) this stellar performance of the film comes as no surprise, with trade predicting that the collections of Drishyam 2 will see further growth.

Currently, the total collections of Drishyam 2 within the U.A.E/G.C.C market after two days stands at USD 502k [Rs. 4.09 cr.] including revenue from paid previews on Thursday. Going by this current trend estimates state that the business of Drishyam 2 will certainly see further growth over its first week running. In fact, the positive feedback the film received, coupled with the wide release spelled success for the film.
