Daayra continued to see modest business on Wednesday as the Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer collected Rs. 0.37 crore on Day 6. The latest figure takes the film's India total to approximately Rs. 5.06 crore.
The Wednesday collection represents a 17.78% decline from Tuesday, when the film had earned Rs. 0.45 crore. The film has therefore continued to operate at a relatively subdued level through the weekdays.
Daayra began its theatrical run with Rs. 0.94 crore on Friday. Collections then improved by 50% on Saturday, when the film earned Rs. 1.41 crore, followed by Rs. 1.39 crore on Sunday. The opening weekend total stood at Rs. 3.74 crore.
The film then collected Rs. 0.47 crore on Monday before adding Rs. 0.45 crore on Tuesday, with the latter representing only a 4.26% decline from the previous day. Earlier it was noted that the Tuesday performance indicated that the film was maintaining a similar level of business during its second weekday.
With Wednesday's Rs. 0.37 crore taking the cumulative collection past the Rs. 5 crore mark, Daayra now enters the latter part of its opening week with its weekday performance remaining the key factor in determining its next phase at the box office.
