The Siddharth P Malhotra directorial Hichki released a few weeks ago in China. Though the film opened on a slow note, the business of the Rani Mukherji starrer witnessed good growth over its opening weekend and over the subsequence weekdays as well. Now on its third weekend at the China box office, the business of Hichki that had begun to dip saw yet another spurt in collections.
In fact, though the film has slid down the list of daily highest grossers at the China box office, it still managed to retain the fifth spot. Now in Day 17 at the China box office, Hichki has managed to draw in a further USD 1.16 million [Rs. 8.51 cr]. With this the total collections of Hichki at the China box office have managed to go past the Rs. 120 cr mark. In fact, currently the total collections of the film within the Chinese market stand at USD 16.82 million [Rs. 123.41 cr].
With the business of Hichki seeing yet another spurt in collections over the weekend, expectation are that the film is more than likely to run for yet another week at the China box office. As per predictions, it won’t be surprising if the Rani Mukherji starrer manages to go past the Rs. 140 cr mark ibn the coming weekdays.
