The Sriram Ragavan directed film Andhadhun that featured Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead has been unstoppable at the China box office. Nearing the end of its second week running in the Chinese market the business of the film has remained rather consistent. In fact, after crossing the Rs. 200 cr mark at the China box office, the business of Andhadhun seems to be still raking in the moolah.
On its thirteenth day running Andhadhun has managed to draw in a further USD 1.46 million [Rs. 10.14 cr] while still retaining the second spot on the daily highest grossers list at the China box office. Looking at the business trend Andhadhun has enjoyed in the Chinese market, it appears that the film and its content have struck a chord with the Chinese audience. In fact, given its box office trajectory the collections of Andhadhun at the China box office will continue to see growth. As of now the total collections of the film within the Chinese market are pegged at USD 31.56 million [Rs. 219.25 cr].
Going forward, estimates state that Andhadhun is more than likely to cross the Rs. 225 cr mark in the next few days. If that wasn’t all, predictions state that the business of the film might in all likelihood even cross the Rs. 250 cr mark.
