Of late, usual trend for films is to show around 20% increase in collections on Saturday. However, since celebratory season is on and there is a big holiday anyways lined up for Monday, all that the Ajay Devgn film had to do was to stay decent on Saturday. This is what happened as Rs. 10.06 crore came yesterday. The film has now collected Rs. 20.30 crore in two days and as things stand today, the weekend should be around the Rs. 30 crore mark.
Some of the centres that were weak on Friday have seen a little jump in collections on Saturday while others have remained around the same lines. For Ajay Devgn and his team, it is going to be a wait and watch period right through Diwali as the suspense around how far would the film eventually go would all depend on the Monday collections.
There is a scope for the film to stabilize itself if that indeed happens since at single screens, this is still the best bet for a large section of audiences in the interiors. Considering the fact that the week of November 4, is also wide open, there is good scope for the film to hang on to those screens and continue collecting for a couple of weeks.
