The overseas market has fast become one of the biggest markets for Indian films, with recent releases showing high rates of collections at the box office. Well this week's release Airlift that also features in overseas release is no different. In fact the film featuring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur that is directed by Raja Krishna Menon has been doing brisk business at the overseas box office.
Below are the overseas collections figures from four territories:
N. America - 130,643 USD [88.28 lacs] from 80 screens
U.K. - 50,014 USD [33.79 lacs] from 37 screens
Australia - 28,676 USD [19.37 lacs] from 17 screens
New Zealand - 13,029 USD [8.8 lacs] from 9 screens
While currently figures from only these territories are available, the overall Overseas box office collections for Airlift are expected to increase as reports from other markets come.
