Mom stayed stable on Wednesday with Rs. 2.23 crore more coming in. The film has now touched Rs. 21.89 crore mark and its Week One numbers would be comparable to Hindi Medium which had collected Rs. 25.21 crore. That film grew strength from strength though and ultimately managed to almost triple this number by enjoying a lifetime of Rs. 70 crore. Now Mom would be in a good state if it manages to double its first week numbers and arrive in the vicinity of Rs. 50 crore. It may well be tough but then a lot would also depend on how Jagga Jasoos does in its opening weekend.
The first major target for Sridevi's Mom would be to go past the lifetime collections of Taapsee Pannu's Naam Shabana which had brought in Rs. 37.25 crore. That is certainly on the cards and once that happens it would make Mom the highest grossing female centric film of 2017.
As for Guest Iin London, there isn't much headway that the film is making and would close its first week around the Rs. 10 crore mark.
On the other hand, Spider-Man: Homecoming is well on its way to enjoy a Week One of Rs. 50 crore. That makes it a good success at the Indian Box Office.
