Box Office: Kapoor & Sons Registers second highest weekend of 2016 :Bollywood Box Office

The Shakun Batra directed multi starrer Kapoor & Sons that released last week has had the audience and critics going gaga over the film. With stellar performances by Rishi Kapoor, Ratna

Pathak Shah, Fawad Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, Rajat Kapoor and Alia Bhatt the film that tells the story of a dysfunctional family has struck a chord with the audience.

In this box office report we take a look at the weekend collections of Kapoor & Sons while comparing them to previous releases of 2016. Not surprisingly the film that has received positive

reviews across the board has managed to record the Second Highest Weekend collections accumulating Rs. 26.35 cr. In fact the film manages to overtake previous releases like Ghayal Once Again

that collected Rs. 23.25 cr, Neerja that collected Rs. 22.01 cr and Wazir that collected Rs. 21.01 cr. However, the film does not manage to surpass the collections of the Akshay

Kumar- Nimrat Kaur starrer Airlift that collected Rs. 44.3 cr.
