The Varun Dhawan starrer Judwaa 2 released a week ago and has been dominating the Indian box office ever since despite new releases hitting screens. Interestingly overseas as well Judwaa 2, has been enjoying a similar run at the box office, with various territories reporting staggering collections.
In fact as of now, Judwaa 2 has managed to rake in a whopping 4.03 mil. USD [Rs. 26.4 cr.] from the overseas territories. From this massive collection, 1.4 mil. USD [9.14 cr.] has come in from the Middle East, another 877K USD [Rs. 5.72 cr.] from North America, 372K USD [Rs. 2.43 cr.] from the United Kingdom and 242K USD [Rs. 1.58 cr.] from Australia, clearly bearing witness that Judwaa 2 has been performing equally well in almost all markets.
With such good collections Judwaa 2 has now become Varun Dhawan’s highest Week 1 overseas grosser. Besides this film has also managed to surpass some previous releases like the Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2 that had collected 3.6 mil. USD [Rs. 23.52 cr.] and Varun’s previous release Badrinath Ki Dulhania that had collected 3.8 mil. USD [Rs. 24.83 cr.] within their first week in the overseas markets.
