Ranveer Singh ended 2018 with a bang, with his release Simmba rocking the box office. Starting off his new year, Ranveer was on cloud nine with Simmba continuing to run to packed houses. Now the actor’s latest release Gully Boy has managed to bolster his box office magnetism even further. Directed by Zoya Akhtar and also featuring Alia Bhatt, Gully Boy released yesterday across 3350 screens in the domestic market.

Collecting Rs. 19.40 cr on its opening day, Gully Boy has managed to become Ranveer’s second highest opening day grosser till date. As of now, with little to no competition from other releases, Gully Boy that enjoys a massive screen count coupled with positive reviews and good word of mouth is expected to see even further growth over its opening weekend.
