Yet another record is up the sleeves for Golmaal Again. The Rohit Shetty directed film has not just emerged as a Blockbuster, it is now also set to be the biggest ever grosser amidst clashes. Prior to Golmaal Again, films like Bajirao Mastani and Bang Bang have emerged as the biggest grossers on clash with Dilwale and Haider respectively. However, despite arriving alongside Secret Superstar, multi-starrer horror comedy Golmaal Again is going great guns and add another record to its name.
The film has so far scored Rs. 171.84crore (after bringing Rs. 4.33 crore more on its second Monday) and that has given it good enough pace to go past the lifetime of Bajirao Mastani [Rs. 188 crore] and Bang Bang [Rs. 181 crore]. While there would be a touch and go with Bang Bang within second week itself, Bajirao Mastani would be crossed before end of third weekend.
Golmaal Again is now comfortably sprinting towards the Rs. 200 crore mark and that when the competition Secret Superstar is not a complete pushover either. Yes, though the gap between the two films is really huge, the fact still remains that the Aamir Khan production has already netted Rs. 50 crore and would be eventually folding up around the Rs. 60 crore mark. The clash could have been much more impactful though but still Golmaal Again has won it by a major margin and is set to be the first ever to score a double century in such a scenario.
