The Rohit Shetty directed fourth installment in the comic Golmaal franchise titled Golmaal Again released a few weeks ago. The film which hit screens on Diwali opened with a bang at both the domestic and international box office. Starring Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade, Golmaal Again received positive feedback from both the audience and critics alike.
After dominating on its opening weekend and the first week, the business of Golmaal Again contained it's winning streak with collections showing a positive trend. Now, apart from emerging as one of the highest grossers of 2017 within the domestic market, Golmaal Again has also surpassed the previous release Raees featuring Shah Rukh Khan that had collected Rs. 281.44 Cr to emerge as 2017’s biggest worldwide grosser.
If that wasn't enough, the film has now managed to collect a whopping Rs. 300 cr. gross worldwide. But since Golmaal Again still continues to run in certain territories the collections of the film are expected to be higher at the close of business.
