It has been four weeks now since the release of Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay. Though buzz was that since both films released on the same day box office collections would be dented, however, both releases have done well at the box office.
But from the two it is the Karan Johar directed Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that has managed to surge ahead in terms of overall box office collections. In fact the data clearly puts Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in the lead over Shivaay. Grossing Rs. 238.5 cr, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil takes the lead over Shivaay that grossed Rs. 148.18 cr by a massive Rs. 90 cr margin.
