However, owing to the intimate scenes and the star cast of Mallika Sherawat, Om Puri and Naseeruddin Shah, Dirty Politics managed to collect Rs. 3.94 crores at the box office
and has surpassed the collections of other releases this week. Interestingly, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dum Laga Ke Haisha collected Rs. 6.72 crores and Badlapur
collected Rs. 2.5 crores during the same weekend.
