Last week on Friday we saw the release of the Hollywood horror flick Annabelle: Creation. Despite catering to a rather niche genre the film which has received positive reviews overseas opened on a good note within the domestic market.
After collecting a surprising Rs. 4.5 cr on its opening day the business of Annabelle: Creation witnessed a jump in collections on both Saturday and Sunday as well. In fact the film which seems to have been well received by the audience managed to draw in a further Rs. 6.75 cr on Saturday and another Rs. 7.75 cr on Sunday.
While the business of Annabelle: Creation has been growing despite the competition from Bollywood release the total opening weekend collections of the film within the domestic market are currently pegged at Rs. 19 cr.
