There is no stopping Rustom. The film is continuing to do quite well and had another good day in theatres on its second Friday. Though there was a partial holiday a day before (Rakhi) and a new release alongside it as well (Happy Bhag Jayegi), the Tinu Suresh Desai directed film was almost unaffected as it continued to bring in numbers. With Rs. 4.5 crore* more coming in, the film has now accumulated Rs. 95.5 crore already. Considering the fact that films that have been accepted by the audience tend to grow quite well on Saturday and especially Sunday, Rustom is set to have a very good weekend ahead.

First major milestone that would be crossed is an entry into the 100 Crore Club and that would happen today itself, what with the film generating ample interest amongst viewers. For Akshay Kumar, this would be his third straight century in six months flat, something that no actor has ever achieved ever since the inception of the 100 Crore Club. For its makers too (Zee Studios, KriArj Entertainment), the film has turned out to be a jackpot as it would cover a very good distance in the remainder of the week as well, considering it is the first choice amongst the audience.

With the film turning out to be a clean superhit, the film is good news for all involved. Ileana D'Cruz is back in the reckoning, Esha Gupta has made a worthy comeback and Arjan Bajwa has showed once again that he can be roped in for interesting parts. This isn't all, as director Tinu Suresh Desai can well be expected to see more interesting films coming his way, considering the fact that his debut directorial outing 1920 London had done reasonable business as well, despite seeing a delayed release (without much of a promotion or hype) after two years.
