Box Office: Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 collects 7.26 crores on Monday, maintains a very good hold :Bollywood Box Office

Akshay Kumar's Jolly LLB 2 is now set to be a Hit. After a very good weekend of Rs. 50.46 crore, the film maintained quite well on Monday and brought in Rs. 7.26 crore more. Considering the fact that Friday numbers were Rs. 13.2 crore, this is a good hold. The film has now accumulated Rs. 57.72 crore and even normal drops from here would ensure that the Week One numbers stand around Rs. 75 crore.

This is yet another instance of an Akshay Kumar starrer to register consistent collections and in similar range. Airlift, Housefull 3, Rustom and now Jolly LLB 2 - each of these films has seen the superstar play different characters in a different set up and audiences have been picking what he has to offer. It is his versatility that is doing the trick and the manner in which he has attracted multiplex audiences over the years has brought in added credibility factor.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, Jolly LLB 2 has been universally liked by the audiences who have had a dekko at it. The word of mouth is such that the rest of the weekdays should be good as well. While Rs. 100 crore is a given for the film, it has to be seen how much further does it go from that point on.
