In fact, the research done by our team shows that the average drop in business for most films on Mondays in 2013 has been in the range of 50-55%. However, in the case of films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Aashiqui 2, it saw exceptionally low drop in business at 42% and 43% respectively. So what happened in case of SRK's Chennai Express?
Well, shockingly, despite all the hype and hoopla, SRK's Chennai Express saw the highest drop in BO collections on Monday. Even though the film collected Rs. 12.62 cr on Monday, it shows a drop of 61.17% as compared to its Sunday collections.
