The Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Karik Aaryan has been unstoppable at the box office since its release over three weeks ago. Also featuring Kiara Advani the film which is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani has been seeing consistent collections each day despite new releases hitting screens in the subsequent weeks. Now, on its third Monday running the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has still managed to hold strong.
In this box office report, we look at the third Monday collections of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 while comparing the same to previous releases of 2022. Collecting Rs. 2.25 cr the Kartik Aaryan starrer has emerged as the fourth highest third Monday grosser of 2022. Preceded by releases lie KGF – Chapter 2 which collected Rs. 3.75 cr, RRR which collected Rs. 3.50 cr and The Kashmir Files which collected Rs. 3.10 cr, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 manages to surpass the Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi which collected Rs. 1.50 cr.
In terms of all-time highest third Monday grossers, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 manages to make it to the Top 20, sharing the spot with the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore and the Hrithik Roshan – Tiger Shroff starrer War, both of which had collected Rs. 2.25 cr on their respective third Mondays.
Currently, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 continues to run despite multiple new releases hitting screens. In fact, going forward trade predicts a rather good outcome for the film, which is expected to go further especially due to the absence of any major release this week. As per expectations, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which has collected Rs. 157.07 cr, could see its overall box office collections nearing if not crossing the Rs. 175 cr mark by the end of its third week.
