The recently released Rajkummar Rao – Bhumi Pednekar starrer Badhaai Do opened to a lukewarm response at the box office. However, the business of the film saw good growth on its first Saturday and Sunday with Rs. 2.72 cr and Rs. 3.45 cr more coming in.

However, Badhaai Do, which still faces the restrictions imposed due to the pandemic, does not manage to compete with Rajkummar’s previous releases like Stree which collected Rs. 31.26 cr, Judgementall Hai Kya that collected Rs. 19 cr, Roohi that collected Rs. 12.58 cr, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga that collected Rs. 11.83 cr, Bareilly Ki Barfi that collected Rs. 11.52 cr, Dolly Ki Doli that collected Rs. 10.75 cr, and Queen that had collected Rs. 10 cr.
As of now, Badhaai Do continues to run in theatres, however, predictions state that the business of the film will witness a drop on weekdays. But, given Valentine’s Day festivities, it is likely that the business of Badhaai Do might remain stable or even see growth in metros and multiplex-dominated markets.
