The recently released film Badhaai Do which comes as a second film in the franchise after the previously released Badhaai Ho opened to a rather tepid response from the audience. However, the business of the film saw growth of 64.85% and 26.84% on its first Saturday and Sunday respectively.

While the business of Badhaai Do does not manage to compete with her previous releases like Toilet - Ek Prem Katha that collected Rs. 51.45 cr, Bala that collected Rs. 43.95 cr, Pati Patni Aur Woh that collected Rs. 35.94 cr, and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan that had collected Rs. 14.46 cr. On the other hand, the business of Badhaai Do has managed to surpass her other releases like Dum Laga Ke Haisha collected Rs. 6.12 cr, Sonchiriya that collected Rs. 4.60 cr, and Saand Ki Aankh that had collected Rs. 2.47 cr.
Currently, Badhaai Do continues to run, with expectations that the business of the film remains stable over its first Monday on account of Valentine’s Day. However, predictions claim that the film’s business is definitely likely to see a drop on the coming weekdays.
