The Akshay Kumar starrer Bachchhan Paandey that opened on a decent note last week has not really seen its collections jump on its opening weekend in theatres. Though the film continues to run, it faces immense competition from the previous release The Kashmir files.
In this box office report, we take a look at the opening weekend collections of bachchhan Paandey while comparing the same to previous releases that released in 2022. Collecting Rs. 37.25 cr, Bachchhan Paandey out beats the other releases like The Kashir Files that collected Rs. 27.15 cr, Badhaai Do that collected – Rs. 7.82 cr, and Jhund that collected Rs. 5.58 cr. However, the business of the film does not surpass the Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi that had collected Rs. 39.12 cr over it’s opening.
As of now, Bahchchhan Paandey still continues to run in theatres. But with The Kashmir Files taking continuing to remain as the audiences’ first choice in theatres the Akshay Kumar film will face a steep uphill climb.
