After a modest Rs. 3.55 cr opening day, the business of the film took off achieving new heights with each passing day. Now on its second weekend running The Kashmir Files has managed to retain a hold on the audience emerging as the first choice in theatres.
In this box office report, we take a look at the second-weekend collections of The Kashmir Files while comparing the same to previous releases of 2022. Collecting Rs. 70.15 cr The Kashmir Files has managed to become the highest second weekend grosser of 2022. In fact, the business of the film far overshadows other releases like the Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi which collected Rs. 10.08 cr, Badhaai Do that collected Rs. 2 cr and the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund that collected Rs. 1.60 cr.
If that wasn’t all, The Kashmir Files still continues to run, despite the new release Bachchhan Paandey hitting screens. In fact, going by trade predictions the business of The Kashmir Files will continue to remain more or less stable in its second week as well.
