‘Student Of The Year’ dominates, new releases fail!

STUDENT OF THE YEAR continued to dominate the marketplace, although the business was on the lower side … CHAKRAVYUH is poor and so is AJAB GAZABB LOVE.

Weekend: October 26 - 28, 2012.

U.K. & IRELAND BOX-OFFICE

  • STUDENT OF THE YEAR: In its second weekend, the film has collected £ 53,095 on 27 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,966. Total: £ 2,54,593 [Rs. 2.20 crores].


  • CHAKRAVYUH: In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 34,758 [Rs. 30.09 lacs] on 34 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,022.


  • AJAB GAZABB LOVE: In its opening weekend, the film has collected £ 13,828 [Rs. 11.97 lacs] on 12 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,152.


  • ENGLISH VINGLISH: In its fourth weekend, the film has collected £ 12,671 on 9 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,408. Total: £ 4,44,107 [Rs. 3.84 crores].


  • MAATTRRAAN [Tamil]: In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 2,998 on 2 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,499. Total: £ 1,34,900 [Rs. 1.17 crores].


  • BARFI!: In its seventh weekend, the film has collected £ 2,846 on 1 screen. Total: £ 7,23,669 [Rs. 6.26 crores].


  • OMG - OH MY GOD!: In its fifth weekend, the film has collected £ 2,016 on 1 screen. Total: £ 3,67,563 [Rs. 3.18 crores].


  • LOVE AAJ KAL: The film has collected £ 5 on 1 screen. Total: £ 10,51,270 [Rs. 9.10 crores].



U.S.A. BOX-OFFICE

  • CHAKRAVYUH: In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 1,11,247 [Rs. 60.11 lacs] on 73 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 1,524.


  • AJAB GAZABB LOVE: In its opening weekend, the film has collected $ 7,790 [Rs. 4.21 lacs] on 25 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 312.


  • STUDENT OF THE YEAR: The total stands at $ 5,37,195 [Rs. 2.91 crores] after its second weekend.


  • OMG - OH MY GOD!: In its fifth weekend, the film has collected $ 6,627 on 5 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 1,325. Total: $ 9,14,992 [Rs. 4.95 crores].


  • ENGLISH VINGLISH: The total stands at $ 17,78,020 [Rs. 9.62 crores] after its fourth weekend.


  • HUSBANDS IN GOA [Malayalam]: In its sixth weekend, the film has collected $ 600 on 1 screen. Total: $ 10,135 [Rs. 5.48 lacs].
  • BARFI!: In its seventh weekend, the film has collected $ 228 on 1 screen. Total: $ 28,04,874 [Rs. 15.17 crores].

  • PUTHIYA THEERANGAL [Malayalam]: In its second weekend, the film has collected $ 446 on 2 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 223. Total: $ 2,487 [Rs. 1.35 lacs].


  • MAATTRRAAN [Tamil]: In its third weekend, the film has collected $ 115 on 1 screen. Total: $ 1,81,766 [Rs. 98.33 lacs].


  • MR. MARUMAKAN [Malayalam]: In its tenth weekend, the film has collected $ 26 on 1 screen. Total: $ 12,729 [Rs. 6.89 lacs].



AUSTRALIA BOX-OFFICE

  • STUDENT OF THE YEAR: In its second weekend, the film has collected A$ 30,622 on 13 screens, with the per screen average working out to A$ 2,356. Total: A$ 1,23,282 [Rs. 68.73 lacs].


  • CHAKRAVYUH: In its opening weekend, the film has collected A$ 18,418 [Rs. 10.27 lacs] on 6 screens, with the per screen average working out to A$ 3,070.


  • ENGLISH VINGLISH: In its fourth weekend, the film has collected A$ 8,728 on 4 screens, with the per screen average working out to A$ 2,182. Total: A$ 1,65,859 [Rs. 92.47 lacs].


  • POWER CUT: In its opening weekend, the film has collected A$ 4,552 [Rs. 2.54 lacs] on 4 screens, with the per screen average working out to A$ 1,138.



NEW ZEALAND BOX-OFFICE

  • STUDENT OF THE YEAR: In its second weekend, the film has collected NZ$ 13,572 on 8 screens, with the per screen average working out to NZ$ 1,697. Total: NZ$ 58,156 [Rs. 25.73 lacs].



FIJI BOX-OFFICE

  • AJAB GAZABB LOVE: In its opening weekend, the film has collected FJD 7,033 [Rs. 2.13 lacs] on 2 screens, with the per screen average working out to FJD 3,517.


  • CHAKRAVYUH: In its opening weekend, the film has collected FJD 3,074 [Rs. 92,928/-] on 2 screens, with the per screen average working out to FJD 1,537.
