The lean phase continues! The two new releases - PHIR MILENGE and DHOOM - have been rejected in U.S.A. and U.K.

PHIR MILENGE has recorded poor collections in its opening weekend in both U.S.A. and U.K.

In U.S.A., DHOOM has recorded lower screen average than even KYUN! HO GAYA NA… [$ 3,372] and FIDA [$ 3,277], going by the opening weekend business. In U.K., the screen average of DHOOM is lower than Yashraj's previous films - HUM TUM [£ 5,728], MERE YAAR KI SHAADI HAI [£ 3,357] and MUJHSE DOSTI KAROGE [£ 6,390].

U.K. BOX-OFFICE

• DHOOM has debuted at No. 18 position in its opening weekend. The film has collected £ 61,838 on 25 screens [approx. Rs. 51.59 lacs], with the per screen average working out to £ 2,474.





• PHIR MILENGE has debuted at No. 20 position in its opening weekend. The film has collected £ 41,617 on 25 screens [approx. Rs. 34.72 lacs], with the per screen average working out to £ 1,665.





• FIDA [last weekend: No. 16, this weekend: No. 26] registers a sharp drop. In its second weekend, the film has collected £ 19,544 on 18 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 1,086. The total so far has been £ 97,166 [approx. Rs. 81.07 lacs].





• KYUN! HO GAYA NA… [last weekend: No. 17, this weekend: No. 27] continues to fall. In its third weekend, the film has collected £ 16,273 on 19 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 856. The total so far has been £ 240,534 [approx. Rs. 2 crores].





• MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI [last weekend: No. 20, this weekend: No. 29] is steady on the lower side. In its fifth weekend, the film has collected £ 13,770 on 15 screens, with the per screen average working out to £ 918. The total so far has been £ 630,987 [approx. Rs. 5.26 crores].
