Midweek B.O.: ‘7 Khoon Maaf’ is below expectations

Rs. 11.53 cr nett in its opening weekend, which is below the mark. The breakup:- Fri 3.30 cr, Sat 3.51, Sun 4.72 cr. The film started slow on Friday, showed no major jump on Saturday, but was better on Sunday. However, given the number of screens in circulation, besides no major opposition to contend with, the film should've grossed at least Rs. 15 cr + in its first three days
Patiala House	Akshay Kumar, Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Anushka Sharma, Armaan Kirmani, Jeneva Talwar, Usman Qureshi, Tinnu Anand, Prem Chopra, Soni Razdan	Akshay Kumar's performance, dramatic moments and penultimate portions	Screenplay is erratic	Had a drastic fall in its second weekend. Distributors who have acquired the film even at reasonable prices will lose a chunk of their investment. Theatrical business -- Flop

Plus, super performances from the entire cast. Also, Sudhir Mishra's handling of the subject material	Inconsistent pacing and a few unwanted sequences that add to the length	Theatrical business -- Above average
