Pooja Entertainment Films Ltd and Shakti Sagar Productions’ Tutak Tutak Tutiya is a story of a man named Krishna (Prabhu Dheva), who is obsessed with marrying a modern girl so that his children can have a better future. Contrary to his expectations, at the behest of his ‘dying’ grandmother, he... lands up marrying a simple village girl Devi (Tamannaah).

When the newly married couple shift to their new house in Mumbai, little do they know that their house is actually haunted by the spirit of a failed model cum actress named Ruby. In no time, Ruby uses Devi’s body in order to fulfil her dreams of becoming a toprank actress and also work in a film opposite the reigning superstar Raj Khanna (Sonu Sood). What happens after that is beyond anyone’s imaginations.

Does Devi ever free herself from the spirit of Ruby, does Krishna and Devi have a successful marriage and what happens to their lives is what forms the rest of the story.
